Sports Media is the creation of cutomized digital and print assets that showcase the team and athletes.

“Picture Day” is when a school photographer schedules during the team’s athletic period to photograph one group pose and one individual pose for parents to buy and yearbook to use. They may do banners. There is no customization, collaboration, and do minimal planning. Make Up Days, Proofing and Retouching are additional charges. The focus of the photographer is to get the images done in the fastest way possible.

A “Media Day” is a closed photo session with a team and their project sponsor. A tremendous amount of planning and preparation happens to ensure its success. Players signup for a 10 minute session. Proofing & retouching is required. During media day we create images for sports media projects the team will do for the upcoming season.

Sports Media Projects are projects typically what college or pro sports teams do, so that their marketing department can roll projects out throughout the team’s season to showcase the team& athletes. Sports Media projects include, but are not limited to the following:

Banners, senior posters, team schedules, senior buttons, smile for mom buttons, social media game campaign for the duration of the season, player signings, team images for the yearbook and social media sports programs, and 2 page team roster programs, recruitment images, locker room magnets, end of season banquet slideshows, and/or newspaper head shots. Game Promos: These are custom designed images for social media posting to introduce a player and announce game information. Poses are chosen by players. Game promos are then made to order and are scheduled for a specific game. They are proofed and will be posted by Vasara Sports Media, the school, boosters, players and their respective family and friends can share what we posr. Click here to See Examples.

Social Media Campaign: It is a marketing campaign comprised of a groups of game promo images that are created for each player on a team. They are posted on social media throughout the season for each game. They are custom, retouched and proofed, marketed. Colleges sports teams send out game promos for each their games. We are doing the same thing, but at the high school level for your player’s team.

Green Screen Photography Photographying a subject with a green screen background involves photographing a person and later adding visual effects in place of the green color. By digitally removing that green color out, we can swap out the green background for custom designed background we create for your team. See example below.
