My Images

  1. Will my image be retouched?

    All purchased images will be proofed and retouched per the client’s feed back.

  2. Will I receive a proof?

    We send proofs out for all paid images/projects.

  3. Will my image be printed with the green screen background?

    No, the green screen background will be removed and another background put in its place. We will send you a proof before printing.

  4. What do I do if I notice a mistake, but I have already approved my banner and it’s been printed?

    You can pay for the reprinting of the CORRECTED banner and the ADDTIONAL shipping.

  5. Why do we need cell numbers for parent and player?

    We use these contact numbers in our Vasara Sports Media texting software for communication, proofing, scheduling and customer service issues.

  6. Can I do a buddy or sibling picture?

    Yes, just contact us via our Vasara Sports Media texting software so we can add it to your media day session shot list.

  7. Do I choose my poses or do you pose me?

    We actually send you links to our idea galleries, so you can text us chosen poses, so we have them ready for your media day session time.

  8. When do I see my game promos or any of my other images?

    We send out a gallery link once the banners have gone to print, along with an example of your team’s approved game promo designs.

  9. Who pays for my game promo?

    Businesses, parents, booster clubs; athletic programs typically sponsor the game promos for the players. They usually purchase the banner with 1 game promo package. However, you can also purchase a game promo, ala carte as well.

  10. Who pays for my banner?

    Businesses, parents, booster clubs, athletic programs typically sponsor banners for the players.

  11. When I buy a banner, do I get the digital file?

    No, those are separate purchases.

  12. When I buy a print do I get the digital file?

    No, those are separate purchases.

  13. Can my business sponsor a project?

    Yes. Contact our office at 512-965-8737 or send a text to our Vasara Sports Media Customer Service System (text only) 844-283-0479. Additionally, organizations, or a family may choose to sponsor a project.

  14. Can I sponsor to pay for a student who can not afford his banner, prints or game promos?

  15. Why do they all have a green background?

    We photograph each player separately on green screen so that we can combine the player images in a team image, senior group etc. It also allows us to be more creative, so that different backgrounds can be used in place of the green background. The green screen allows the image to be movable.

  16. Can I see the retouched proofs of all my poses?

    Everything we create is made to order. We retouch the proofs when the image or projects are paid for, and approved. We do however, show the design examples of each project.

  17. Do we get the digital file for the team image?

    Yes, a digital file comes with each team banner.

  18. How long are my images kept?

    They are only kept for one school year, and then they are deleted.

  19. What will my promos look like?

    We post an example of the game promo design we will create.


Planning

  1. Do you work with club teams?

  2. Do you work with JV teams?

    We work with JV teams only with their respective varsity team at their school. There is a $500 minimum order required, and we only create team banners for them

  3. What do I wear for my media day session?

    Typically, players come in wearing their uniform, as worn on game day, or they arrive 15 minutes early to change into their uniform for their scheduled media day session.

  4. What does a player need to do to prepare for their media day session?

    We text the players a link to reserve a 10 minute session time as well as links to send us what poses they want to do prior to their media day session.

  5. Who does the scheduling for Media Day?

    We do the scheduling!!

  6. Does the coach need to be there during Media Day?

    No, the coach does not need to be at the media day, but is welcomed!


Ordering

  1. Do You Do Presales for Parents & Players?

    Yes, we can. With presales you do not get to see the poses but usually we offer a bonus to encourage purchases. This not recommended for first time clients at all.

  2. Can Parents Order Other Things From Your Company in an Online Gallery Where They Can See the Poses?

    Yes, they can do this. We usually put up a gallery after banner proofs have been completed. Everything in the gallery is made to order. This means that until we have a paid order, the images will still have a green background. When we do receive an order, we will send you proofs before printing.

  3. Can I buy digital files to be for things I need during my senior year?

    Yes, you can purchase a digital file with a print & social media use license through our online system. It is called “Digital File For Printing “ and is found under the Digital section of the Store. It costs $45 dollars per image. It comes with a digital file usage license for printing that will allow you to do the following: put in graduation invite, use in senior yearbook ad, include in a senior slideshow, print as a big head, print 8x10’s for my relatives, frame it for your senior graduation table or even put on my graduation cake.

  4. Can I just buy a digital file for my senior slideshow at school or just to post as my profile image? social media use only?

    Yes, you can purchase a digital file with a print & social media use license through our online system. It cost $35 dollars per image.

  5. When are online orders processed?

    Every Wednesday we process online orders, so we can send you proofs, to be approved, before printing?

  6. How long does it take to get my online order?

    It take up to 7 business days in house to create, proof your images & print your order. if applicable Depending on the shipping you choose, it may take another 2 -10 business days.

  7. Do you do custom orders?

  8. Do you have senior night gifts?

    Yes! We offer a social media senior night campaign, 8x10 prints you can frame. senior buttons, senior group schedule posters, senior program covers and senior yard signs.

  9. What is the turnaround time for banners?

  11. What do I do if I want to order a second banner or a yard sign?

    You can order these items though your team’s online gallery.


  1. Can our booster club hire your business if the school has a contract with a school photographer?

    Yes, we can be hired through a booster club, coach business or team mom. We create projects that are beyond different than that of a contracted school photographer. We only work with varsity teams. Everything we do is custom, proofed retouched and rolled out by us. A Vasara Media Day held by us considered team building and also marketing for the team, school, booster club and athletic program.

  3. How do I schedule my makeup?

    Text us though our Vasara Sports Media Customer Service Text System at 844-283-0479. All customer service issues from the parents & players must be submitted via out texting system 844-283-0479 from Monday- Thursday - 9 am to 6 pm, Friday , 9 am-3 pm, Sunday, - 9am-6pm, Closed Saturday

  4. Does the whole team show up at once to do the team photo?

    No, every player comes in to do their photo session per their scheduled session time; we photograph them on green screen. Because of this, we can combine the individual poses into a team composite.

  5. Why are media days typically scheduled on Sundays?

    We schedule on Sunday, so that we do not take away from practices or game days.

  6. How do I signup for my media day session?

    We text the players a link to reserve a 10 minute session time, as well as links to send us what poses they want to do.

  7. Is there minimum amount of money that has to be spent on projects?

    Yes, there is a $1200 project order minimum for the season per team to work with us.

  8. A $500 Deposit is due and will apply toward your future project bill if scheduled 3 months before seson starts.

  9. Where do I go to schedule my purchased social media game promo?

    After we receive the purchased order for your game promo, we will send you a link to sign up for the game event of your choice.
